International Theatre Festival of Kerala (Itfok 10)

I had the privilege to attend the 10th International Theatre Festival of Kerala  (Itfok) in Thrissur, Kerala, India. This year the theme was “Reclaiming the Margins”.

I was invited by Borderline to document their performances and trip to India. As a long time project I have been photographing and travelling around with the amazing Borderline family. It is an honour for me to be able to be part of such a great and beautiful group of people but also to be able to help them with my photos so that their voice gets heard.

Itfok is an amazing festival that happens every year in Thrissur. The festival always focus and addresses important social issues. The organisation (particularly Anja) was super kind and let me attend and photograph the other shows too. Apart from Borderline’s show, I have seen and photographed the following performnaces: Palestine Year Zero, Mundo Mozart, Khol do, Walk S.A., Bad City, Red Light District, Womb of Fire and Manus.
